Push Back Racking System

E Storage Push Back Racking System is commonly used as an alternative to Drive-In Racking. It uses conventional forklift to load the pallets into inclined magazines for storage. Once loaded, the pallets return automatically to the front of the rack by gravity. It offers high-density storage with different pallet types being stocked at each level, but operates on First-In Last-Out (FILO) principles.

Fundamentally, this racking system are used with a cart system up to 5 pallets deep and can be used with various pallet sizes. The carts are all colour coded to aid stock control and identify empty locations. Safety concerns and relatively fast accessibility to the goods/products is well maintained because the forklift is prohibit from entering the racking.

The benefits of Push Back racking systems include:

  • Maximise the cube
  • Increase efficiency
  • Fast access to pallets
  • Reduced Maintenance
  • Bulk Storage
